Please join us for our weekly Sunday evening prayer sessions, 6:30-8pm, presented in a harp and bowl format. The primary purpose of the harp and bowl format is to facilitate longevity in prayer by making it interactive and enjoyable for all participants. In addition, the unique format helps to prompt unity in corporate prayer through singing together.
Phase 1: Devotion – A local spiritual leader/minister will present a devotional that is relevant to the purpose of the prayer meeting or a theme that is central to the community.
Phase 2: Corporate Worship – Singing songs directly to the Lord to focus our hearts and minds on the greatness and sufficiency of our Creator.
Phase 3: Reading and Singing of Prayer and Scripture – Prayer leader(s) will isolate and repeat a phrase from that prayer or Scripture and the song leader will turn that phrase (scripture or prayer) into a chorus, building on the chorus until everyone in the room is able to sing that chorus back to the Lord.
Each week of the month we will dedicate our prayers:
Week 1: Praying For God’s Church here and around the world
Week 2: Praying for our Communities and Cities
Week 3: Praying for our Governing Bodies locally, nationally and globally
Week 4: Praying for Homes and Families as well as the Disadvantaged in our communities
All are welcome!
