What to Expect

Men’s Ministries of First Evangelical Covenant Church is a fellowship of men of all ages, led by the holy spirit to guide our world to Christ.  Men’s Ministries consist of a Bible Study Group and the Men’s Committee.

As we are called to be the Lord’s hands and feet on this earth, the Men’s Committee is devoted to bringing men and groups together to serve each other and the community in which we live and work.  We bring together groups for service projects and social events in order to serve our Lord and spread God’s love through caring for others.

More Information

The Men’s Steak Fry is a regular summertime social event held by the Men’s Committee and it has featured many exemplary speakers throughout the years.  It is held either at a local park or at the church and it is a fantastic opportunity to meet and talk with the men of Rockford First Covenant Church as well as several other area churches.  Due to the impact of COVID-19, the 2020 summertime Men’s Steak fry is currently postponed.  We hope to hold the steak fry soon, however, the health and safety of everyone is a top priority.  We will be following state and local guidelines in the process of restarting our social events.

The service projects organized by the Men’s Committee are not on a fixed schedule but are based upon community needs.  Past activities have included projects involving renovation work for local service organizations as well as work helping others in need.  The Lord truly enriches the lives of his followers by guiding his family to serve others.  If you would like to learn more amount opportunities to serve or have new ideas for service projects, please contact Jim at the email below.
